Instructions:
Registered Name - Choose a name or ID number for your snake. It is customary for breeders to begin the name with a "breeding house identifier."
·For owners, this can be the owner's name, such as Bob naming his snake "Casper" and registering it as BOB'S CASPER.
·For breeders, this can be initials, such as CCC'S or the house name such as CEDAR CREEK. If you use a long identifier, you will not have as much room for the snake's name, so the most popular option is to use initials.
Father's/Mother's ACR ID Number - This is how the ACR connects family trees, so this is very important information. If your snake's parents have ACR numbers, include them here. If the breeder supplied only an internal ID number (such as "ABC X 123") include it here as (NON-ACR) ABC and (NON-ACR) 123. Otherwise, leave this field blank.
ACR Clutch Number - If the breeder or seller included a sticker, please attach it in the space on the upper left. Otherwise, if you know the ACR Clutch number, write it here. If this is unknown, leave this field blank.
ACR Breeder ID - If the breeder has an ID Number with the ACR, include it here. You can look up breeders in the Breeder Listing if you wish. If you do not know the Breeder's ID number, or they do not have a number, please write the name of the breeder and/or their business name. If you are unsure of the breeder's name or company, you can leave this field blank
Locality - If your snake is from locality stock, any relevant notes can be included here.
Special Notes - Anything relevant about this snake can be included here. These can be notes for yourself or others. This field is visible to the public...
Color Morph and Pattern Morph - Some breeders will fill this area out for you. If you are uncertain what to put in this area, you can leave it blank. Otherwise, check the boxes that most accurately match the color morph of your snake. Note that trade names (snow, ghost, etc) for genetic combinations are not listed by the ACR. A table below shows the most commonly used trade names and their components.
    Common Trade Names:
Snow - Amelanistic and Anerythristic (Type A)
Ghost - Anerythristic (Type A) and Hypomelanistic (Standard)
    Butter - Amelanistic and Caramel
    Opal - Amelanistic and Lavender
Phantom or Charcoal Ghost - Charcoal and Hypomelanistic (Standard)
    Blizzard - Amelanistic and Charcoal
Ice - Anerythristic (Type A) and Lava
Pewter - Charcoal and Diffused (Bloodred Pattern)
    Golddust - Caramel and Ultramel
Genotype - Some breeders will fill this area out for you. If you are uncertain what to put in this area, you can leave it blank. Otherwise, check the boxes that most accurately match the genotype of your snake. For hets, check one checkbox, for example if your snake is het for lavender, check one of the lavender boxes. If your snake is homozygous, check both of the boxes for that gene.
Hybrid/Intergrade - If your snake is known to have non-corn ancestors, fill in this area.
Wild Caught - If your snake is known to be wild-caught, check this box.
Photographs - A photograph showing the entire dorsal pattern, or at least to the vent, is required. This will be shown online, and will be used on the registration certificate, and the pedigrees of any of this snake's offspring, so it must be high enough quality for someone to identify this particular snake just from the photograph. (Pictures taken with cellphones or webcams are not advised.)

If the snake is expressing any kind of pattern trait that affects the belly (Motley, Stripe, Diffused, Pied-sided, or other) then a belly photo is also required. Otherwise, a second photo (showing the belly or any other part of the snake, such as a distinguishing saddle or head pattern) may be sumbitted. The second photo will only be viewable online and will not be included on any pedigrees or other printed ACR certificates.

Photo sizes from 640x480 to 800x600 are acceptable. ACR does not accept paper photos, they must be submitted in a digital format. Note that photos may be resized by the ACR to 800x600 for use with the online registry. Do NOT email photographs. Use the Send ID Pictures menu item to upload your pictures.
Applicant Information - We respect your privacy. This information is only used by the ACR for sending you the snake's papers, and any other correspondence relevant to the application. Information is not sold or given to third parties.
PaymentFees:

if 10 or more snakes are being registered in one envelope, $3 each

Certified Pedigrees are available for purchase. These pedigrees feature a full color photograph of the registered snake as well as a 3 generation family tree going back to any known great grandparents. A Pictorial Pedigree is also available that features color photographs of the parents and grandparents of the snake. Both are frameable quality and bear the ACR gold seal.
Add $2 (and check the box) to purchase a Certified Pedigree.
Add $3 (and check the box) to purchase a Pictorial Pedigree.

If you wish to get a Certified Pedigree or Pictorial Pedigree, please ensure that the snake has registered parents and ancestors. The pedigrees only contain as much information as the ACR has, and this early on, some snakes will have few or no known ancestors, some of which are without photos. Please check the mother's and father's ACR numbers (and their online pedigrees) before you decide to purchase a pedigree.
Sign and Date - Please sign and date the application to ensure timely processing.
Payment - We accept cash, check, or money order. Make checks or money orders payable to ACR. All payment must be included in the same envelope with the form(s). ACR accepts PayPal for payments between $20 and $200. Please use the Fee Calculator if you wish to make your payment by paypal.
Mail - Mail completed forms and payment to:
ACR
PO BOX 135
Palmyra, WI 53156
Processing Time - Registration forms should take approximately 1-2 weeks from the time you mail them until they are entered in the database. If you included an email address, we will notify you when your record(s) are added. Registration Certificates (and pedigrees) will be mailed within 1-2 business days of adding the entry to the database. Times may vary based on our workload. Please keep in mind that the postal system works on its own time. In our experience, first class mail can take anywhere from 1-9 business days to reach its destination...
Your Certificate - Hold on to your Registration Certificate. They are how you prove to the ACR and other ACR users that you are in possession of the snake with that ID number. If you sell your registered snake, be sure to include the Registration Certificate with the snake. If you buy a registered snake, make sure you are getting the Registration Certificate with the snake, and make sure that the photograph on the certificate matches that snake. Correcting or updating an entry can only be done by mailing the original Registration Certificate to the ACR.
